I know for binaural beats to work, you’re supposed to use headphones but was wondering if neck speakers like the Bose Soundwear Companion or a cheaper alternative like these would work: I was very skeptic that it would work so quickly but here i am with hair. For me personally, binaural beats dont work for lucid dream induction, and so for beginners I prefer to suggest something else, like MILD or WBTB. My friend recommended me to start listening to binaural beats on Youtube while studying and having insomnia. I don’t think I’d like over ear ones either. I've found some that don't seem to work for me though, and I hear from others that some that work for me do not work for them. I’ve tried earbuds and headband headphones and don’t love either. However the research is limited, only supplemented by large anecdotal accounts by ADHD people across the board, me. I have issues with insomnia and have started listening to binaural beats while I sleep. There was a study last year by Cambridge that concluded that Binaural beats raised the subjective study performance of those with ADHD, verses then listening to a placebo ‘binaural’ frequency.
